Missing Accessories or Stick Drift?

You can still sell your Nintendo Switch to Reuse Robot.

Many trade-in services expect a complete console in near-perfect condition. We take a more practical approach. We can buy consoles with missing docks, chargers or Joy-Cons, and we can also accept controllers affected by stick drift.

Any applicable deductions are shown clearly, helping you understand how the final value is calculated.

Stick drift −£7.50 per affected Joy-Con
Missing dock −£10 where originally included
Missing charger −£10 where originally included
Missing Joy-Con −£15 per missing or non-original Joy-Con

Deductions only apply to the original dock, charger and Joy-Cons where applicable. We do not require the Joy-Con grip, Joy-Con wrist straps or original retail box, and these items do not affect your quote. Nintendo Switch Lite models do not require separate Joy-Cons or a dock.

Frequently asked questions

Selling Your Nintendo Switch

Can I sell a Nintendo Switch with stick drift?

Yes. We accept Nintendo Switch consoles with Joy-Con stick drift. For Excellent and Good consoles, the standard deduction is £7.50 for each affected Joy-Con. Make sure you declare the issue when completing your quote.

Can I sell my Switch without the dock?

Yes. You can sell a standard Nintendo Switch or Switch OLED without its dock. A £10 deduction will normally apply where the dock was originally included with the console package.

Can I sell my Switch without the charger?

Yes. A missing charger does not prevent us from buying your console. A £10 deduction will normally apply where an original charger was expected.

Can I sell a Switch with a missing Joy-Con?

Yes. We can buy consoles with one or both Joy-Cons missing. A deduction of £15 normally applies for each missing or non-original Joy-Con.

Do I need the Joy-Con grip or wrist straps?

No. You do not need to include the Joy-Con grip or Joy-Con wrist straps. These accessories are optional and will not affect your Nintendo Switch trade-in quote.

Can I sell a heavily scratched Nintendo Switch?

Yes. Consoles with heavy scratches or scuffs may qualify for our Fair grade, provided there are no major cracks and the console otherwise meets the Fair condition requirements.

Do you buy faulty Nintendo Switch consoles?

Yes, selected faulty consoles may qualify for our Poor / Faulty grade. The value depends on the model and the faults present. Please declare all known issues when requesting your quote.

Do I need the original Nintendo Switch box?

No. The original retail box is not required. Your console must, however, be packaged securely to protect the screen, casing and controllers during delivery.

Can I sell a parental-locked or modified Switch?

No. The console must use original, unmodified Nintendo software. It must not be rooted, jailbroken, network banned or protected by a parental lock that cannot be removed.

Should I reset my Switch before sending it?

Yes. Remove your Nintendo account, back up any data you wish to keep and complete a factory reset before sending the console.

How quickly will I be paid?

Once your Nintendo Switch arrives, we inspect and test it against the information supplied. Payment is sent after the inspection has been completed and your offer confirmed.

Is postage free?

Yes. We provide a free tracked Royal Mail postage label after you accept your Nintendo Switch trade-in offer.
