Refund policy

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to purchases made through www.reuserobot.co.uk (“Reuse Robot”). Reuse Robot is a trading name of TJS Exports Limited.

We aim to be fair, clear, and straightforward. Because we sell reused and refurbished items, some terms differ from those of new goods retailers, but your statutory rights are not affected.


1. 30-Day Returns Policy (Change of Mind)

You may return an item within 30 days of delivery if you change your mind, provided that:

  • The item is returned in the same condition it was supplied
  • All original packaging, accessories, and included items are returned
  • The item has not been damaged, misused, or altered

Important notes:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect
  • We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service
  • Refunds are issued once the returned item has been received and inspected

2. 365-Day Warranty (Faulty Items)

All eligible products sold by Reuse Robot include a 365-day warranty, starting from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers:

  • Faults that arise from normal use
  • Defects that were not disclosed at the time of sale

This warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental damage
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised repairs
  • Fair wear and tear
  • Consumable items (where applicable)

If a fault occurs within the 180-day warranty period, we will:

  1. Attempt to repair the item, or
  2. Replace the item with an equivalent product, or
  3. Provide a refund if repair or replacement is not possible

The remedy offered will depend on the nature of the fault and product availability.


3. Faults Within 30 Days

If an item is faulty or not as described within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund, including standard outbound delivery costs, in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Return shipping costs will be covered by us in these cases.


4. Faults After 30 Days (Up to 365 Days)

If a fault develops after 30 days but within the 365-day warranty period:

  • We may repair or replace the item first
  • If repair or replacement is not possible or reasonable, a refund may be issued
  • Refunds may be adjusted to reflect use where permitted by law

5. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are not eligible for return unless faulty:

  • Items sold clearly as spares or repairs
  • Items with faults clearly described in the product listing
  • Items damaged after delivery due to misuse or accident

6. How to Return an Item

To start a return or warranty claim:

  1. Contact us at buyback@reuserobot.co.uk
  2. Provide your order number and a description of the issue
  3. We will issue return instructions before you send the item back

Do not send items back without contacting us first.


7. Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–10 working days
  • Bank processing times may vary

8. Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
