Battery performance
The Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar is designed for long-duration GPS activities, with solar charging support helping to extend battery life during outdoor use. The larger 7X case also allows for some of the strongest battery performance in the Fenix 7 range.
Battery performance is assessed using a standard GPS activity test. The GPS Activity Duration option shows what type of GPS activities this specific watch is best suited for on a single charge.
Note: Solar charging provides additional battery support when the watch is exposed to sunlight during outdoor activities. Normal smartwatch use, including time display, notifications, and step tracking, lasts much longer between charges.
